Welcome to our Family Home Page. We are a Dad and Mom and 8 daughters and 1 son.

We are scattered from New York, USA to Washington, USA, to Singapore to soon Taiwan.

We are actively involved in Church activities, violin, piano and guitar lessons.
That’s not to mention the Horse Camp, and the Labrador Retrievers.

We have our own missionary working with Special Needs Students in Singapore through NICS, the Network of International Christian Schools. They provide teachers in 20 schools around the world.

Soon our oldest daughter will be leaving for Kaohsiung City, Taiwan as the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to teach English as a second language.

We are raising men and women to make a difference in the world at large, and along the way it’s turning into a lot of fun.

Zachary, the son in our family, just joined Akron Little League Football this year. Practice starts July 27. We’ll keep you “posted” (no pun intended) as the games start.

We’re getting excited!!  We have a beautiful litter of Black and Yellow Labrador Puppies coming August 19, 2009.

For the past 6 years we have raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. It began for us with a visit to Marvel’s Manse, Debbie’s sister’s family. They have bred and raised Labs for almost 20 years.

When they told us they had a beautiful Yellow female that was one of only 3 in her litter, we were interested in looking at her.

GOOD ADVICE for you. Unless you plan on purchasing a dog, do not allow children to “look” at a yellow Labrador puppy. They are indeed beautiful pups. Of course, they promised vehemently that they would be the ones to take of her. Feeding, taking her outside, cleaning up messes (in the beginning only), etc.

We look back now, and cannot imagine our lives without Shania.

As you can see from her picture, she is a beautiful dog. And an even better mother to her puppies.

Labradors are the most popular dogs in the world, because they are so intelligent and adaptable. Their temperament (when chosen from a reputable breeder of AKC purebreds) makes them excellent all-around family dogs.

We cannot recommend Labradors more highly as family pets, breeding dogs, hunting dogs, and many other roles.

Our family is a varied mix of personalities, as are most families
I’m sure you would agree.

In addition, however, we are faced with the challenge of having them
scattered. Even the ones that still live at home are scattered – or
is that scatter-brained? Oh well, you know what I mean.

As you can tell from our “Who We Are” page, we always have something
going on. And FYI, that page isn’t even complete. We still have
three (or four) I may be losing track. You laugh, you just try
keeping track of 9 children. We thought it was hard when they were
all younger and lived at home. BTW, did I tell you that the first
eight (girls) all have names starting with “K”? Their brother
Zachary doesn’t share in his first initial with anyone. And that’s
not even to mention the grandchildren (First initial “E” for both).

Well, back to blogging. We are trying, slowly, to build this blog.
But it is slow going with the things we have going on in addition.
So, we hope you will bear with us, and do comment once we have
anything interesting enough to comment on.

We are using two particular blogging programs that interface with
Word Press to make your blog look better and work easier. Also,
they are both free:

“ExpertWP” , with great, more secure installation and feature-rich Word Press theme;
and “Traffic Getting SEO Plug-in”.

If you’re into blogging, or want to put your own blog together, I recommend them both.

The island City-nation of Singapore is small by most standards. In addition, it is crowded.

As you can imagine, that makes finding a place to live a challenge. While the sinking economy has taken a toll on Singapore as well as other places (the Sing $ is struggling just like the US $), because of the crowdedness of the city, housing is still at a premium.
